    Wedding Belles
  • Help for Brides
Provide assistance at wedding liturgies to include: Mass Coordinator, Head Minister, Extraordinary Ministers of Holy Communion and Lectors, as requested. Training provided. Wedding Belles walk the wedding party through their roles and positions at the rehearsal and are there on the day of the wedding.  We do whatever is needed-from lining up the wedding party, helping with flowers, finding grandma for pictures, and so on.
  • Wedding Belle Instructions

        1. Use these vessels unless Father desires different ones.
        2. Place one large host (24 pieces when broken) on top of smaller hosts in the paten. (count enough smaller ones for number of guests who may receive)

        1. At the Lamb of God, take the Ciborium up to the Altar. (Tabernacle key is in the safe.)
        2. You may need to help direct the guests up to Communion.(Of course Bride and Groom , then bridal party and family, then finish front to back)
        3. You can receive last and then sit near the Altar to bring the Ciborium back to the Chapel.
    • After the Ceremony
      • After the Ceremony

        3. Clean the communion vessels and put away.
        4. Put away water pitcher and cups
        5. The wedding party is responsible for cleaning rooms used as well as worship space (pew decorations, etc.) However, we can double check to see they have all of their things and straighten up as needed.
        6. Recycle programs that the Bride and Groom don’t need to keep.
        7. You can leave lights on and doors unlocked if this is Saturday afternoon.  Otherwise, turn off all lights and use the Allyn wrench (labeled “Commons” and kept in sacristy Admin drawer) to lock the doors or Father may lock up.
