Parish Council Purpose
- To be open to receiving the Holy Spirit
- To be visionary, reflect on the past, and plan for the future
- To serve the community by providing input to the Pastor and providing such assistance or support as he may require
- To continuously work to develop and articulate a mature understanding of the identity and purpose of the parish of St. Stephen Martyr
- To be a visible example of cooperation, healing presence, leadership, and trust
- To call and enable all members of the Parish to discover, develop, and offer their gifts of service to the Parish community
- To encourage collaborative Parish activity
- To remain focused on the Parish mission statement and review this statement periodically to ensure it remains current
- To institute processes which provide for the development of long-range goals and help to accomplish short term goals and objectives.
