Looking for a faith community? Please reach out if there is any way we may assist you during your station here. We hold our service members and their families in high esteem. This is the reason our church is so committed to keeping a vibrant ministry that meets the special needs and difficulties that military members and their families encounter. We are mindful of everything related to military life and service, including the deployments, moves, and sacrifices. We pray you'll feel at home at St. Stephen, Martyr.
We Support
You serve us. Let us serve you. Our Military Ministry stays in touch with deployed service members and their families. If you are deployed or soon to deploy, let us know. We can help your family at home with things like mowing, simple repairs, or just meeting for a cup of coffee.
We Welcome
Our Welcome Team loves to assist to make your transition to Chesapeake go smoothly. We know your time here may be short, so we'll plug you so your time with us is fruitful.
We Pray
We have a military alcove in our Worship Space as a constant reminder to pray for Deployed and Gold Star Parishioners. If you or a family member are deployed, send us a photo so we can pray for you and your family during your deployment.
During the year, we honor the fallen, active duty and their families, and veterans. We highlight military service on Memorial Day, Armed Forces Day, 4th of July, Veterans Day, and Gold Star Family Day.
