Parish Registration -
Welcome to our Church Family!

To register, create a My Own Church account.My Own Church allows you to access and update your own family information, register for classes, and view giving history and tax statements.
Step 1: Visit ParishSoft and click on “New User?” This initial step must NOT be done on a mobile device.
Step 2: Fill out the New User Registration Form. The Organization can be found under “St. Stephen, Martyr Catholic Church, Chesapeake”.
Step 3: Submit the Registration and wait 1-3 business days.
Step 4: You will receive an email inviting you to log on and see your My Own Church account. The email address you supplied should receive an email within 1-3 business days with a temporary password from the following email address: St. Stephen, Martyr Catholic Church .
* Please check your spam folders. If you do not receive an email within 1-3 business days, call the church office at (757) 421-7416 or email [email protected].
Step 5: Return to the login screen and enter the username and temporary password from the email into the applicable fields.Detailed Instructions

Select E-Giving, text giving, or envelopes.
E-Giving
Give electronically through our secure website one-time or set up a recurring gift.
Text Giving
Super easy and secure. You can give one-time or schedule weekly giving. Text GIVE to 757-300-1796 and enter the amount you would like to give.
- First time users will be prompted to visit a secure URL.
- Click the registration link and enter your credit or debit card information.
- After your donation processes, you will see a confirmation text.
- Text KEYWORD to see available Fund designations.
- Save the SSM Text Giving number in your phone.
